Our Story

A Jalisco Kitchen on Bandera Road

Bandera Jalisco started with a simple idea: bring the colorful, hearty flavors of Jalisco to San Antonio's Westside and never cut corners on the basics. That means tortillas made in-house, chorizo and egg griddled to order, and salsa that regulars describe as "SOO GOOD & a good spicy." Step into the dining room and you'll find bright murals, the smell of fresh masa, and sometimes a live musician playing while you eat.

Mornings here are built around breakfast plates — crispy potatoes, eggs any way you like them, and that famous fluffy, powdered flour tortilla people drive across town for. By midday the menu shifts to tacos, beef fajitas, and enchilada plates loaded with tender carne guisada, all wrapped up fast for the drive-thru crowd or served hot in the dining room.
